~About Me~
Thank you for taking the time to get to know the woman behind the photos. My name is Jania. I am 25yrs old & I am a wife & mother of four beautiful children. Anieska(6yrs old) Melody (Forever 4 months) Gabriel(2yrs old) & the smallest is Carissa(1yr old). Between my kids,website & now my photography business I stay busy. I started photo editing after the loss of our precious little girl Melody Celestial who passed away on January 11th 2006.
A few weeks before the passing of our precious little girl our family computer crashed & I lost a lot of digital photos of Melody I had not yet gotten to save or back up. I was unable to recover them & later we lost Melody. We were devastated & we were left with very little photos of her. When you lose a child and the moments of loneliness come along, all you want to do is see your child and hold them...when those moments would come I would look at her photos being they are all I now had/have of her. I knew every single photo by memory and I wanted to make them new again by creating special photo enhancements. That's when my journey began.
I then started reaching out to other mothers/parents like myself who had lost a child & started to offer my support as well as my work. It was great therapy for me to be able to give these mothers/parents something special.... a photo of their child who was no longer here but in a way renewed. They were so grateful & that helped me with my grief. Knowing I was doing a little something to help someone feel a bit better in their time of loss made my loss feel less heavy on me.
On August 11th 2007 I opened my own Business/website offering my work not just to bereaved parents like myself but to the whole world. I am glad to say that the website has been a big success. Through every photo created there's a little piece of Melody within it because she is the inspiration who began this journey. My other three children are the fuel & my husband is my great strength & my supporter. I am now venturing on a new journey which is photography and will be openning a website soon offering my inspiring photography work to the world. I am excited to see what the future holds for my family & me.
This website is a tribute to our precious & beloved Melody Celestial & in closing I will say thank you very much for reading this little area about me & thank you for making the site as successful as it is today.
